SUMMARY GENERAL DISCUSSION ABOUT "BONDED LOGISTIC CENTER"

Indonesian Bonded Logistics Center (PPLBI) was established on March 10, 2016.
Background of the PLB:
1. Development of business processes that need to be facilitated
2. The Lowest performance of logistics
3. A limited access to import and export IKM

PLB as one concept to change the map of logistics and supply chain management in Indonesia as well as being part of the distribution center.
Until now there are 17 companies included in PLB and will be 28 companies soon.
Can be defined "PLB is TPB to hoard goods from outside the customs area or goods from the customs area, can be accompanied by one (1) or more simple activities in a given period of time to be re-issued"
The hoard activities in PLB is for 3 years from the date of nopen entry customs document.
If passed: must be exported back, issued to another TPB, issued to Free Zone or other economic regioIf passed: must be exported back, re-issued to another TPB, or other economic with import compliance information or will be frozen.
● Hoarding can be accompanied with simple activities

PLB REQUIREMENTS
Administrative Requirements, including:
1. Document eligibility SPI
2. Documents eligibility IT Inventory
3. Proof of ownership of the place
4. The identity of the responsible person

Physical Requirements, including:
1. Location 1 hectare
2. Have a physical examination
3. Have the layout and clear limits to handle simple activities

Prohibition in the PLB:
1. Enter the prohibited goods for import or export
2. Release the goods with a different purpose to the destination that listed in the permit of PLB

Difference between a Temporary Reservoir (TPS) and Bonded Logistics Center (PLB)

TPS A temporary reservoir is a building or a field or somewhere else that is equated with it at Customs Area to hoard goods while waiting for loading or expenses

- accumulation period of 30 days
- Use the customs value when export the goods

LPB to hoard goods from outside the customs area or goods from the customs area, can be accompanied by one (1) or more simple activities in a given period of time to be re-issued
- Owner of the goods themselves
- Accumulatipn period of 3 years++
- Use the customs value when export the goods
